Business

Overview
- Korea Testing Laboratory is a calibration laboratory with quality management system and calibration technology that properly meet conditions of international quality standards of KS Q ISO/IEC 17025 in accordance with Article 14 of Framework Act on National Standards and Article 20 of compli ance of national calibration laboratory, and is Korea’s representative lab that is internationally recognized with multilateral recognition arrangement including ILAC, APLAC, and EA.
- In April, 2001, it was recognized as KOLAS national calibration laboratory approved by international standards, and on Dec. 20, 2005, it has established its status as Korea’s main calibration laboratory with renewal evaluations of 363 items in 34 national standards.
- In August, 2007, to move forward to become the world’s leading testing and certification institute with international competitiveness, our headquarters completed its move to Ansan city, operating six teams of 30 Ansan standard rooms and the Seoul on-site laboratory.
Purpose
- By providing support to calibrate and test national standards of measuring instruments that are required during product production including international certification, export inspection, research and development, and quality control, it is to enhance the business environments of companies and to advance and globalize the products.

Electric and Electronic Standards: Calibration of direct current, impedance, alternating current, electricity of exchange, magnetism, low frequency, calibration of time and frequency, speed and number of rotation, and RF, and calibration of light source and detector and optical communications
Industrial Physical Standards: Calibration of mass, pressure, vacuum, volume, density, viscosity, fluid flow, contact temperature, non-contact temperature, humidity, moisture, light intensity, light source and detector, medium characteristics, and chemical analysis
Machine Dynamics Standards: Calibration of linear measurement, angles, shapes, complex shapes, and other length-related fields, power, torque, hardness, vibration, acoustics, and shock
Calibration of touring industrial sites
Commissioned management of measuring instrument calibration: Maintain measuring instruments of business institutes, public agencies and research centers in a lump according to the annual plans after being commissioned
Technical Training of Precision Measurement: Length, power/torque, electricity, temperature/humidity, etc.
Calibration of measuring instruments of fire-fighting facilities of Ministry of Security and Public Administration

Calibration of rice processing complex (RPC) of Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, hopper scale, grain moisture meter, testing facilities (pH meter, salinity meter, solution conductivity meter, microscope, etc.)
