Dear valued customers, This is Se-jong Kim, President of Korea Testing Laboratory(KTL) Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) is 

Korea’s only comprehensive public testing and certification organization that was founded in 1966 with aid from UNESCO for the  purpose of establishing a foundation for national industrialization. While Koreans have worked together to achieve the Miracle of the Hangang River over the past half century, KTL has played a role 

in the country’s industrialization with a dream of creating a technological powerhouse. In particular, KTL has contributed to national economic development by supporting industrial “transformation” and “growth," which was unheard of in the past, by fulfilling its duty of supporting companies in improving their quality competitiveness and 

acquiring export certifications.

KTL will continue dedicating utmost effort to accomplishing tasks required by the times through the full commitment of its members. In doing so, KTL promises the following:
First, in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digitalization, and eco-friendliness, KTL will lead Korea’s advancement into a hegemonic power in the digital economy and transition
to a green economy by creating outcomes through the development of international standards for the key Fourth Industrial technologies and testing and evaluation platform establishment
and integrating KTL’s expertise with strategic industries of the future, such as AI, big data,secondary battery, future mobility, and aerospace.

Second, KTL will contribute to the improvement of the Korean companies quality through test certification evaluation support and technology development consulting, and promptly 

respond to potential Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) in line with the rapidly changing globa trade environment in order to position as a partner of corporate growth by enhancing the export
competitiveness of Korean companies and taking the lead in pioneering the market.

Third, KTL, as Korea’s only comprehensive public testing and certification organization, will commit itself to verifying the causes of threats to public safety and removing safety blind

spots by making active use of its professional competencies.

Fourth, following the relocation of the head office in 2015, KTL will strive to achieve industrial development at the same time as revitalizing the local economy by working together with local

communities and discovering industries specialized for each region.

Lastly, KTL will fulfill its responsibility and duty as a public institution by practicing ESG management to bring benefits to citizens, create an organization culture of communication and

harmony, change and innovation, and integrity and fairness, and maximize itscompetencies accordingly.
